Liza Culick, Esq, MPH, CPCC, is Principal of Culick Consulting & Coaching. She has a background in law and public health, and more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
Liza is a consultant, leadership coach, thought partner, strategist, network designer, and facilitator. A leading practitioner in the areas of networks for systems change, cohort capacity building and leadership development for over twenty years, she has spearheaded innovation in the design and delivery of initiatives that bring leaders together for impact.
Her organizational consulting includes assessment, strategy and planning, and the design and facilitation of multi-organization processes in the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.
Liza is a Certified Professional Coach (CPCC) and a certified Meyers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner. She is President of the Board of the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music, and served for ten years as the Chair of the Diversity Partnership Advisory Committee, a community grantmaking body of the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County.
Co-author, The Due DiligenceTool: for use in pre-grant assessment (2004) and Tool for Assessing Startup Organizations: a due diligence supplement for grantmakers (2003), both published by Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO).
Co-author, The Nonprofit Mergers Workbook, Part II: Unifying the Organization after a Merger (2004).
In addition to degrees in law and public health, she studied Chinese and political science as at Wellesley College, and completed language study programs in mainland China and Taiwan.
Liza is also a founding partner of Story4, a multimedia production studio whose creative team won a 2007 Emmy Award for New Approaches to News and Documentary Programming (www.story4.org).
